I believe pricing should be clear, fair, and easy to understand.
Projects are simply and transparently priced using:
-
Materials at-cost + day rate (or half-day rate for smaller jobs)
Practical, hard-working spaces designed to keep everyday life organised without sacrificing style.
Custom-built media units, shelving, and feature walls, balancing function, storage, and clean design
High Quality Planed & Treated Oak, tailored to suit your home.
Turning awkward or unused space into smart storage, seating, panelled or partitioned
Contemporary timber features that define spaces while keeping light and flow.
Including doors, studwork, outdoor structures, and more specialised or one-off projects.
If your project doesn’t fit neatly into one of these categories, don't worry! - many of the best projects start that way.

FAQs
Do I need to know exactly what I want before getting in touch?
Not at all. Many customers come to me with a rough idea, a problem space, or simply a feeling that something isn’t working. Part of my role is helping you explore options and shape that idea into something practical and well-designed.
Do you only work on the services listed on the website?
No — those are just common project types. I regularly take on bespoke, one-off joinery and carpentry projects that don’t fit neatly into a category. If it’s domestic, non-structural, and design-led, it’s always worth asking.
What size projects do you take on?
I focus on small to medium domestic projects. This allows me to work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard as a one-person business. Large commercial or structural projects aren’t something I currently offer.
What is the CAD pre-design service?
The CAD pre-design service allows your project to be modelled and visualised before any work begins. It’s ideal if you want clarity, confidence, or help refining your ideas before committing to a full build.
Is the CAD service required?
No - it’s completely optional. Some smaller or simpler jobs don’t need it, while others benefit greatly from seeing the design in advance.
Is the design cost deducted if I go ahead?
In many cases, yes. If you proceed with the full project, the design fee can be discounted or deducted from the final price. This is always discussed upfront.
How do you price your work?
Most projects are priced based on materials at cost plus a day rate. Smaller jobs may be charged at an hourly rate or half-day rate. This keeps pricing transparent and flexible for bespoke work.
Do you work in lived-in homes?
Yes — most of my work is carried out in occupied homes. I work cleanly, respectfully, and with minimal disruption, and I’ll always discuss access, noise, and timings in advance.
